New Sub-forum for general graphics, creating custom avatars, signatures, tutorials, etc.

It would be nice to have a general graphics forum to compliment the more artistic one.

I have been on several boards that built up a community of custom signature and avatar creators, and taught people to use PS, paintshop, etc.

It was great fun and allows those who might not have such skills to either learn or request a picture from those who are willing.

I think that, for now at least, the artistic forum will suffice to be honest. The only reason the Embassy got created was because so many people didn't want to see the CF craparama which has been inflicted on our board. If we get a few more members maybe more forums but I also don't want to end up like the mommy boards on which my wife posts that have so many forum the community doesn't even really have any sense of itself.

Maybe just create a thread on the topic in the art forum and see where it goes. If it gathers a lot of momentum, maybe a sticky?

That would work too. I just didn't want to be too far off topic. So I could create a thread for things such as signatures and avatars and then just post tutorials individually I assume?

Alright, new glitch. I was going to post a walkthrough tutorial with pictures and the image limit is 4? That seems a bit low.


In fact...I don't remember my previous post having that at all when I put my paintings...strange.

That's the image limit per post. You could divide your tutorial into a few posts.

Ten sounds good to me. Maybe even a bit high, but liveable.

10 is probably high for most uses. But having the extra comes in handy in a forum area where people share art and art techniques.
