I will honor your request AL but with a sad heart. Would you please PM and explain? If you don't I will initiate your self-ban tomorrow at some point. I wish you wouldn't leave.

Well...that was a bit abrupt, wasn't it?

Not to push over any dominoes here, but she doesn't have to explain herself. It does seem a bit abrupt. Usually you'd expect this sort of thing after a heated public argument with a member or staff, but this was right out of the blue as far as we know.

I only know you from a few messages on 'some other forum', and I guess I'll see you around. Good luck in the future.

You're right, Annabel doesn't have to explain herself. And if she doesn't want to, I won't sulk or get mad or anything. It just seems a bit out of character, and I worry.

I mean, what if it's because I smell bad? :-(

Well, if she won't tell us, there's not much we can do to try and fix the situation, I guess.

She is one of my all time favorite members of CF. I still post there, so maybe I'll still get to see her. HaHa.

I simply asked for an explanation. It is not required. I also do not like immediately granting requests for self-bans. I prefer to give people time to think about it. As of right now I am granting the request sans explanation. I will always try to find out why someone wants to leave and give them time to think. I think that's the best way to handle things. Alas no explanation was given. I will miss AL.

I don't like the concept at all. If people want to kwit, they can just kwit.

Just like any other addiction, internet addictions can be hard to just kwit. Some people need a little extra help like a self ban.

Since when does requesting a self-ban automatically mean someone is addicted to the internet????

That's a little much to assume isn't it?

(its also a bit rude but I won't get into that)

I miss AL too. She's cool!
